In November 2023, Sheriff Edwards Claimed He Was “Not Willing To Make Himself More Electable By Becoming A Republican.”
Apparently, Blair Edwards is willing to become a Republican to get elected.
Blair Edwards is a Democrat masquerading as a Republican to win the election. In fact, here is voter registration form where she admitted she was a Democrat.
Her ties to Louisiana Democrats are deep and long-standing. She is connected through marriage to former Democratic Governor John Bel Edwards' family, and her entire household is entrenched in Democratic political circles. Furthermore, her campaign has accepted more than $30,000 from Democratic donors, and her campaign manager previously contributed thousands of dollars to Hillary Clinton's campaign.
But despite trying to be a Republican, national liberals made her their Judge of the Year:
Blair Edwards's extreme liberal views are evident in her "national Judge of the Year" award from an organization that pushes for placing foster children with transgender parents and promotes the use of puberty blockers and sex-change procedures on minors.
This same group was previously defunded by the Trump Administration due to its illegal DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) practices.
Louisiana Republicans should be terrified of giving liberal Democrat in disguise Blair Edwards a seat on the Louisiana Supreme Court.
